Here's to the future

Mixtures of freedom and anxiety flood Danielle's mind as she left her workplace of the last ten years. As much as she was leaving a secure job, Spencer had been right, and it was time for change. Part of her will always miss it, but the rest of her needed something new to pursue. Entering her house, she found Spencer sitting on the couch with a bottle of Stumbling Fox and two wine glasses waiting on the coffee table.

After a hug and a kiss, Spencer said "How are you?"

"I dunno. It's a lot to take in."

"I understand. You want a drink?"

"Sure."

Spencer poured the two glasses and then sat down. "So do you want to do any packing right now?"

Dani shook her head. "Not right now. Just wanna kind of decompress."

"Fair enough. It's a lot to take in."

"Sure is."

Spencer then raises his glass. "Here's to the future."

"To the future."

After gulping down some wine, Spencer asked "So, you making any moves on the photography biz yet?"

"Not just yet. Figured I'll set this place up for rent first, seeing as that will be a steady income."

"That's true. So any other plans?"

"Not really. Just spending time with you."

"Looking forward to it."

"I am too."

"Got any plans for this weekend, seeing as we have the house to ourselves?"

"Oh, I've thought of a few things." Dani's finger rubbed his chest.

"Yeah?"

"How about you help me pack some clothes first?"

"Anything to get you in the bedroom."
