"Um, well there's more bread." Sam stammers, still feeling a little awkward in Mike's presence. "I could make some more."

"Oh that would be great." Emma says with a grin, "I'll give you a hand."

As Emma brushes past him, Sam offers a weak smile at Mike before turning around and heading into the kitchen to help out.

"I suppose I'll have to lug this stuff up to the bedroom myself then." Mike moans, picking up the cases and making his way up the stairs.

As Sam and Emma busy themselves in the kitchen preparing the toast Emma turns to him with a smile. "Do you think Shelly and her boyfriend would like some too?" She finally asks.

"Probably," Sam admits. "It was a pretty long car journey here."

"Could you be a dear and go grab them while I finish off?"
