Quickly pushing the thought aside Echo turns to face Devyn.

"I'll take my chances," she says before rearranging his lower anatomy with a sturdy knee to the crotch. Devyn falls to the ground wheezing as Echo takes off in a sprint in the direction of the far-off road.

She runs till her lungs scream and her legs burn and she collapses to her knees at the foot of a slight hill. After taking a moment to catch her breath she looks back the village that is now a good ways away. Happily she sees no one chasing after her and begins to slowly make her way up the hill.

After another half-mile she arrives at where the road picks up along the edge of a dense forest. She finally takes a moment to consider where exactly her adventure will lead, and the way sign by the road offers her two interesting possibilities; east to Coulder's Coast, a crime filled mess of a city and the center of the **** trade, or west to Centauri, a massive, thriving city and a center of culture for all the land.
