Helda catches Rocketgirl

There was a planner on top of the file cabinet but Rocketgirl decided to go through the drawers first. Opening the top drawer the heroine found student records from visits with Helda. The same was in the second drawer and the third drawer. Pulling out one of the records Rocketgirl started to look through it. There appeared to be nothing out of the ordinary in the folder, just notes about the counseling session. At that moment, the door to the office opened and Helda stepped in flipping on the lights. Both Rocketgirl and the counselor were surprised, with Rocketgirl trying to put the folder away.

“Who are you? What are you doing here?” Helda stammered backing up in the doorway. “Those are confidential records, I could call the police.”

Rocketgirl put the file away and tried to deescalate the situation. “I’m Rocketgirl, a superheroine. I am sorry for the intrusion. I will just be going now.” The silver clad heroine tried to walk towards the door. She figured in her costume with her full mask that Helda would not recognize her as Melissa. Hopefully the woman would just let her leave and not call the police or the press.

“Yes….I have heard of you.” Helda said puzzled. She relaxed but still stood in the doorway blocking Rocketgirl’s path. “But you didn’t explain why you were in my office, going through confidential files. If you don’t have a good answer, I will call the police.”

Rocketgirl wished she could just get away because she didn’t have a good answer. She snuck in on a feeling and did not find anything. How could she explain that? Helda was in the doorway though so she couldn’t just run by the woman.
