Head to the Basketball Court
What else is there for Kammi to do, than her favorite pastime? Her apartment complex had a small courtyard section built in-between it and several other towering structures, and resting in the center was a rather small, but certainly usable basketball court. Kammi and some of her friends from School and the area in general had spent countless hours out here. But with the unrelenting heat, the black girl didn't expect to see anyone else out.
So what a surprise she felt as she stepped into the courtyard, only to hear the tell-tell sound of a basketball being dribbled.
Kammi approached the fenced-in court tentatively, curious as to who else was **** outside on a day like today. The girl's surprise only increased however as she caught a flash of ginger hair, some white skin, and all at once, a white girl shot an eight-pointer, landing nothing but net. Slightly-curly orange hair rolled all the way down her back, partially covering up the pretty pink t-shirt she wore. Her legs were toned, thighs slightly visible before disappearing beneath athletic shorts which framed a pert little butt. Kammi had never seen this girl before, and as she continued to approach the court, the white girl stopped for a moment, and turned to face the new-comer.
"...Oh, hello!" She spoke cheerfully, pretty face on full display as she shot Kammi a nice warm grin. Her eyes were a sharp blue, and pretty freckles dotted her youthful face. Her body was shapely enough however, it was easy to assume she was Kammi's age or even a year older. "You must be one'a my new neighbors, huh?" The ginger haired girl met Kammi halfway across the court, hand outstretched, and warm grin unwavering. "I'm Raleigh. My family and I just moved from Ireland! What's your name friend?"
Kammi blinked, the surprise still washing over her. But the girl was quick on her feet, and soon enough, gave Raleigh's hand a nice firm shake. "Names' Kammi." She spoke, consciously leaving out her middle and last name as she looked the ginger girl up and down. "Welcome to America I guess...I ain't never seen a white girl play ball before though."
Raleigh laughed at that, giving Kammi a bit of a confident smirk now. "Oh yeah, well maybe I'm just full'a surprises." The ginger teased out with a wink. "Sports my passion, though I've always been'a softball girl. Here though..." In the blink of an eye, the basketball was tossed Kammi's way. And it was only by the grace of her reflexes that the black girl was able to catch it before it hit her face. "...Lets play a match. Show me what'cha got!"
