Chapter 3
by gunde
Where does she decide to go?
Head east for the hills
The hills looked promising from where Druuna stood, potentially filled with bunkers and other remains from the old days, containing knowledge and information.
The prospect of that outweighed the risk of running into marauders or mutants.
And besides, she said to herself, if she ran into marauders she had learnt how to handle them, she thought with a mischievous smile as she looked down at her body, loving how her skimpy white top tightly clung her firm, round breasts.
To the hills it was, and Druuna set out across the dirt plain that laid below them.
After an hour or so of fast-paced walking, she noticed how the ground began to become elevated and more rocky, and was pleased at being near her goal.
Another hour passed and Druuna sweated as she made her way up the slope, before she finally stood at the summit of one of the hills, looking back down at the direction from where she had come.
After having rested for a short while, enjoying the beautiful, warm day, Druuna began to move again.
She didn?t really have a plan for where she was heading, but was instead moving almost at random up the hills and down into the valleys, constantly looking for dangers or interesting sights.
Three hours later, the sun began to set, and Druuna was unwilling to risk sleeping in the open.
She looked around and saw that a pillar of smoke was rising up to the sky not far to the east of her, a possible sign of some sort of civilization.
On the other hand, she could see what seemed to be the entrance to a cave nearby, just on the other side of a small valley filled with shrubs and boulders.
Where does Druuna decide to spend the night?
