He was stranded.

Vibit groaned as he woke up, wet and sandy. He looked around himself, and saw beach in both directions. Behind him was a nearby forest. He didn't recognize the location, and it took a few moments to collect himself. Finally, he determined he had washed up on the shore of an island somewhere between Rata Sum and his destination. He didn't think this was the location he had been heading to, but what was more important, was to figure out where he was, not where he wasn't.

He stood and looked himself over. His clothing was heavily torn, especially his shirt, which was reduced to a cobweb of fabric. He tore it off, as well as any other bits that were loose, until he was in a pair of long shorts (which once were pants), and fortunately, his goggles, which he saw covered in sand nearby. He washed them off, and popped them back over his eyes.

They were mostly undamaged, though not entirely. They weren't functioning at 100%. Though, he might be able to fix them enough to send a distress signal if given the time and resources.

Though it was warm, he knew a fire was important, especially to dry off. He kept a pile of the fabric he harvested from the wrecked parts of his wardrobe just in case, and began collecting twigs nearby. It wasn't difficult for the asura to craft up a small campfire. He had worked on golems, so a flame was child's play.

He stood beside the flickering flame and pondered.

Where am I, and what attacked us? This is bad, but I can't panic. The more I freak out, the worse it'll be. All I need to do is use my brain.

What was the most strange, was that despite being knocked about, thrown into the water, and having his clothing torn, he had no injuries on his body. He felt quite all right, all things considered. He took that as a blessing.
