He wakes up to an unusual present (Main Story)

Chris woke up to the sound of his alarm clock.

He opened his eyes and looked around, seeing his simple looking bedroom with his comics, laptop and many different posters. It was just the same as it always was. Except there was something new.

On his bedside table, next to his alarm clock, he spotted a square box with a ribbon around it. "What the?"

Curious, he got out of bed and picked the box up. Undoing the ribbon, he pulled the lid off and looked inside to find a strange looking device.

The device was silver and had a screen on the top with triangular buttons next to each side. There were three blue buttons below the bottom arrow and and one red button to the left of the left arrow.

Taking it out of the box, he saw it was some kind of watch or bracelet with the bottom missing. He looked back in the box and saw nothing. Not note explaining what it was and who had given it to him. He pressed the blue buttons, but nothing happened. He then pressed the red button and notice a red dot suddenly appear on the wall besides him. Looking around, he noticed there was a laser pointed like device above of the screen

Eventually, his curiosity got the best of him and he slide his left hand through the hole. Once it was through, the device seemed to come alive. The screen lit up and the two parts of the bracelet extended to slide around his wrist and link together, seconds before an electric surge flew through his body.

"Augh!" He cried as the zap ended and the device suddenly spoke, using his own voice.

"Bio-scan complete. User info uploaded and stored." The screen then changed to show words

"What the heck are you?" He asked, the tingling ending.

"Mega Bracer."

"Mega Bracer?" Chris had never heard of such a thing. "Where did you come from?"

"The is a message in my database that will explain everything. Would you like to hear it?"

"Sure." Chris waited as the screen lit up and a line appearing between it, seconds before a voice spoke out of it that made with wobble.

"Hello. If you're listening to this, then you are the wielder of my greatest invention. The Mega Bracer. I designed it for those that were like me, who never stood out or got what they wanted. Those who got picked on or bullied, or ignored by those around them." Chris couldn't deny that wasn't who he was. "I won't go into detail about how this device came into your possession. Just know that it's yours to do with as you wish. You can never use it if you don't want to, or go crazy as use it as much as you want. It's your choice. Only you can use it and the device is designed to be unnoticeable by anyone except the wielder."

"Seriously?" He asked, thinking this was starting to sound like something out of a bad movie.

"The Mega Bracer is a high-tech device designed to allow the wielder to take control of anyone they wish."

"What?" Now it was really sounding like something out of a bad movie.

"All you have to do is hit someone with the laser and keep it on them for ten seconds. After that, the device will link to them and give you any information you want on them. Every deep dark secret or memory will be yours to know. You can also command them to do whatever you wish. Simply press the far right button and speak a command into the Mega Bracer and it'll happen. You can make them do whatever you want and they'll think they decided to do it of their own free will. You can also add memories to them and they'll believe those memories without issue. The far left button is the undo button and will cause any commands or memories to be forgotten. And finally, the middle button is the control list. Press this and it will bring up a list of anyone you've controlled in the past. You can then use the other command functions on that person and bring up any information you want on them. You can also delete them from your list. But if you do, any memories or commands you added to them will remain and you'll need to reconnect with them again to undo them"

"This has gotta be a prank," Chris told himself.

"You probably think this is some kind of joke. But it's not. If you don't believe me, try the device out for yourself. It's yours to do with as you wish. Goodbye."

With that, the voice stopped and the screen went dead.

Chris simply stood there and stared at the Mega Bracer, wondering if he really should test it out.

Eventually noticing the time, he took his mind off of the device and got dressed before heading downstairs. There, he found someone who he could use as a guinea pig for his newest toy.
