"Hey Cutie," She walked out onto her front porch just in time to stop the boy from ringing her doorbell. "Where are we headed?"

"Wow, you look amazing!" Rudi said, hugging her and guiding her to his beat-up truck. "I said I was going to show you around, right? Let's take a drive."

Alice smiled, the boy had only changed his shirt since that afternoon. She was dressed to the nines, but in his defense, Rudi probably didn't have much better to wear.
