He goes to check

"I swear if I come back and..."

"What am I supposed to do? I'm here, you'll be back in a minute. Just go. And don't ask anything specific or I have to wipe them again."

He got dressed annoyed. This was crazy. She was actually telling him this. Never had she gotten this far. The best was probably that she wasn't forcing him to believe. She wanted him to believe her by himself.

He walked down the stairs. She could hear their voices coming from the living room. He sounded massively confused. That was a good sign. While he was away she grabbed a blanket and covered herself a little more. She'd get dressed but she was at the misfortune of leaving her clothes at home.

He came back upstairs and started talking. "They don't remember. They didn't see you, they didn't see a shirt. They did see the storm this morning. They even remember going to the neighbors for some reason but forgot why. They didn't even understand why I would bring you up as a subject."

Shit, she thought. She had been a little clumsy about them going to her house.

"I told you."

"Wh- Why, What, How?"

"I always could."

"Well did you do it on me!?"

"N- Not today! Only when we we're young and we played and I trashed your ball. I made you think you did it."

"Wha- That's so mean. I remember that, that was my favorite ball."

Natalie laughed. I'll get you a new one if you'd like.

"No it's fine... You can alter memories too?"
