Suddenly she was gone in a puff of smoke, along with the contract, leaving only a few teardrops on the ground. Esau was flabbergasted. He did not expected her to go into a tantrum. She seemed rather calm just a moment ago. It just goes to show how unpredictable the demons can be.

He took a moment to gather his thoughts. He was going to have to find his mother by himself, and he only had to search the entirety of Hell to do so. It was just a smidge daunting.
