Harriet "The Hag"

Choosing the house that was less active, Bella went up to the framed porch door and knocked in rhythm. Though, the second she stopped, Bella realized that what she did was totally unprofessional for an officer of the law. after a minute of silence, Bella decided to knock again, only this time the door swung open, almost knocking off the decorative 'welcome' door ornament. Out came an elderly woman, wearing a nightgown, holding a wooden spoon, obviously very pissed.

"I have been calling and waiting for the police to shut that noise down, not to exchange pleasantries!" the woman shouted.

The lungs on this woman meant that she was non other than Harriet Mandel, also known around the station as Harriet "The Hag". Three times a week, Bella would hear Harriet shouting over the phones or throwing fits in front of the police chief. Bella hoped she wouldn't encounter such people, but here she is, face to face with the police ****'s infamous best friend.
