Chapter 11
by grimbous
How does the battle go?
Hard Won Victory
Standing in a line at the mouth of the cave awaiting the advancing goblins ended up being a very foolish tactic. Their bodies perfectly silhouetted by the bright background foliage creating the perfect targets. Before they even see the wicked little creatures emerging from the shadows they are struck by a volley of crude crooked arrows. Conor is hit twice, he grunts but otherwise hardly notices as his attention is super focused on the rushing enemies. Kirstie is also struck, she lets out a hissing scream as it sinks into her hip. They are stunned for a moment as the life and **** nature of this fight really sinks in. In that moment the goblins charge.
Dropping their bows as they run the goblins pull their curved blades and cudgels. There were eight of them. Six had on rags and scraps of armor here and there. Two were nude, one of these with a still bleeding eye. And the last one, a few inches taller than the rest, had on a tattered leather breastplate and nothing from the waist down. His little dicks were erect and leaking viscous grey goblin jizz.
Two are slain the moment they come into range. Conor and Kirstie lashing out with their weapons with more fluency than they thought they had. The battle ensues and it is chaos. The goblins while weak individually were crafty as a group. They were always moving, hiding, changing position, shifting targets. Hit and move, hit and move.
Dan and Yarofaris are eventually able to subdue the one they had been beating on though they both look worse the wear for it. Being unarmed both of them dodge and weave, concentrating on purely being defensive against the armed foes. Dan was internally screaming at his brain to let him at some of the magic he had bottled up inside of him, but it was no use.
Sara and Kirstie fight shoulder to shoulder, trying their best to aid one another. At one point Sara sees an opening and brings her foot up into the crotch of the lead goblin. He just smiles a broken smile at her. They weren't called the Strongballs for nothing. Clamping his legs together to hold her foot he brings down his club, it cracks hard against her thigh and she cries out. Kirstie instantly responds, she recalls the words of encouragement Sara gave her earlier and lashes out with her bladed chain-whip. It wraps around the creature's scrawny neck, as she pulls back with all her strength she snips the goblin's too big head clean from his body. It falls with a thump.
In his frustration at the goblin's shifty tactics Conor begins moving forward to chase one of the creatures, separating himself from the group. This ends up being a costly mistake. The moment he has hived off the goblins rush him. Two more are slain but the raging half-orc falls to their combined attacks. Seeing this the others rush forward. Dan picks up one of the fallen enemy's clubs as he moves. Together they dispatch the remaining foes.
All of them are battered and injured, but the still form of Conor looks close to ****. He was barely breathing and bleeding badly. Kirstie kneels down and put her hands on him. She hated to do it but she saw no other choice. She reaches out to him in her heart and mind. "Do you sssubmit to the mercies of my lord and master?" She says quickly, though no response is possible. Most of her power to do this had been expended earlier, but she had just enough to rouse Conor. Surely saving his life.
Conor groans and rolls to a sitting position. He is still in bad shape. From within the cave two human voices cry out. "Help us! We're in here!"
Yarofaris rushes forward at the sound of her sister's voice.
Looking around at the others Dan was worried. They were in no condition for another encounter. They had to find a safe place to rest. "We need to get these women and get out of here!" He says. The others nod their agreement. "Sara, could you stay here here with Skanky and...sorry, Conor...and we'll get the women." She nods and begins to help the half-orc twice her size to her feet.
With a hiss Kirstie pulls the arrow from her hip and staunches the bleeding with a bit of cloth. Together the siblings enter deeper into the cave, Kirstie using her brother for a bit of support. The area was one large open space, they could just barely see thanks to a small cooking fire in the corner. The smell was indescribable. Both of them nearly wretch as they enter. Between the acrid smoke, the filthy living habits of these creatures, and the fact that countless breeding sessions had happened in this cave over the past few weeks the cave reeked. Yarofaris had already thrown some of the crude blankets over the two heavily pregnant women and was helping them to their feet. Their legs shook and trembled from the effort. Kirstie and Dan could only imagine the horror they had endured.
Kirstie limps forward to help out while Dan takes a quick survey of the room. This was all crazy and overwhelming, but years of gaming had taught him that you always look for treasure. He eventually finds the goblins hoard of collected wealth which consisted of about 50 gold pieces, a few small gems, and a polished grey stone ring. Throwing this stuff in a sack he then goes to help the women for the exit.
Dan says grimly. "We need to put as much distance between us and this place as possible, in case there are others out there still to return home." Kirstie and Yarofaris nod in agreement. They get to the exit to see Sara supporting the greatly injured Conor, he used the Mighty Wang as a walking stick. All together they head away from the cave as fast as they could manage in their current state.
Dan was berating himself the whole way. If only he had access to his magic, this would have went so much better. They **** themselves to march for two excruciating hours. They march stoically, few words are spoken. Everyone knew they had to get away. As the light of the day starts to fade so too was the party's endurance. Between their injuries and the pregnant women they simply could go no further.
Yarofaris and Dan, who were in the best shape of any of them, try to urge them forward but they could sense it was no use. Finally Sara says. "We...we should rest here." No one objected.
Dan scanned the bushes. Every rustle and blow of the wind sounded like an approaching goblin. If there were more goblins it wouldn't be too hard for them to track the group down. Perhaps they should just catch their breath and **** themselves on while they still had a bit of light. They could camp here but it was awfully risky. Hopefully by morning they would be feeling better, but it was the night ahead that had him worried. Conor in particular would not be able to survive another combat right now.
