Gym Shower

Elm hummed lightly to herself as she drew the shower curtain closed and slung her towel over the bar. This gym was a little out of the way for her, being down in Mantle and all, but she preferred the privacy of individual showers instead of the communal setups most gyms in Atlas had. Sure, she was proud of her body, but that didn’t mean she wanted to show it off to everyone.

She pulled her tank top over her head, followed by her sports bra, tights, and boyshorts, all of which she hanged over the curtain rod. Finally naked, she turned the water on and stepped under the shower, sighing as the warm water soothed her muscles. She enjoyed the chance to relax after her intensive workout, stretching and twisting about to ensure that everything was rinsed off. She grinned, her only concern in the world being what she was going to grab for lunch after she was done here.

She was so relaxed, in fact that she almost missed the pair of hands reaching up into sight. Elm didn’t even have a chance to react before the mysterious figure had snatched up her towel and all of her clothing and began to run off. Without any time to consider her options, Elm burst out from the shower, giving chase to the thief. She was too excited by the chase to think about her nakedness, even as her considerable swung pendulously. Luckily, the thief led her away from the busy parts of the gym, down a maintenance corridor and through a rough-looking door. Elm ran through it and found herself in an alley, just in time to see the thief step out onto the sidewalk. The sudden shock of being outside reminded her that she was soaking wet and totally naked, and Elm squealed and hastily covered herself. The moment of panic was long enough that the door closed behind her with the finality of a clicking lock. She spun in place, trying to make a decision about what to do next. Should she continue chasing the thief into the street, try to sneak back into the gym where her street clothes were locked up, or just try to slink home without being seen?
