Guilt

Spencer spent his weekend missing Tori's visits. He knew that even if she was available, he wouldn't be able to figure out an excuse that'd be all that convincing to Amy. He found himself feeling guilty as he thought of his little girl becoming older. Would she also end up like Tori? His little girl was growing up in front of his eyes, and soon enough she'd be Tori's age.

All his thoughts led him to the conclusion that he should spend as much time as he could with Amy. It wasn't going to be long before she'd be all grown up, and both knew all too well how fragile life can be. With that in mind, Spencer to his daughter to the nearby Cherryville. There wasn't much to do there, but the mall provided a few clothing shops that kept Amy occupied.

As Spencer lugged Amy's new purchases, he spotted Karen with Savannah. He hoped the two wouldn't notice but to his dismay, Amy saw them and waved. "Looks like you're getting a workout?"

Spencer chuckled. "Yeah. How are you two?"

"Good. We're just looking for a new schoolbag for Savannah."

Spencer looked to Karen's daughter, trying not to think about how much she looked like Tori. "Find one yet?"

"Not just yet."

"What about you Spencer?"

"Just uh, spending the day out." Spencer felt another pang of guilt over his superior financial situation being flaunted by the excess of bags he was carrying.

"Fair enough. Have you guys eaten yet?"

"Not just yet."

"Do you wanna get lunch together?"

"Can we Dad?" Amy interjected.

"Sure. Why not?"

The four-headed to the food court where they made their selection of fast food. As they talked, Spencer wondered what he'd say when he inevitably got caught with Tori. Deep down he knew there were no words that would soften the approaching day of reckoning. The worst part was that he wasn't strong enough to quit Tori. Even with all his doubts, he was still certain that he desired his new nubile, and that he couldn't wait for Monday to come around.
