Guests, the odd couple edition

In a rush, more guests start arriving. I get a couple of small groups, but nothing at first, not as rambunkshus as the college males have been. That all changes when a dating couple showed up. I look at the tables I have now and sigh. The only table that may cause problems; namely, the rowdy college kids, are still working on their appetizers (which tells you just how fast guests can show up). I approach the greater booth, as they are assigned to my section.

The guy is dressed semi-casual, while his date is wearing a red mini dress. Once I get them seated, I ask if they want anything to drink, and they ovder a drink for each, along with an appetizer. As I turn to go, the guy makes a motion discreetly for me to wait. I pause, turning back to face him and resume smiling his way, politely standing at the ready. "This is a topic I thought maybe having a woman's point of view on would help. See, I've had an interest in trying some more intimate things, some I'd freely admit are sexual, with my girlfriend, whom I have been dating for just over the last year, but she is uncertain if she wants to try them."

I give him a playful, sideways glance before saying, "Well, I can understand in trepidation at not wanting to try something new, but maybe seeing the act performed will help?"

I see his smile bloom wider as she blushes, before she speaks up "That’s what my boyfriend here is trying to do, though I'm not sure he's succeeding at getting the idea across. See, he wants to try them on you first, as he hopes you are more willing to try them. I’d be there the whole time, watch it from the sidelines . . unless you want me to join anyway. And before you ask, I don't mind. It was my idea, actually. If he can get someone else to do it for him in front of me, I promised him I'd make the effort."
