"Really"? She asks skeptically a first, eventually seemingly coming to believe you see continues "In that case you can have the room that is second to the right, first floor, and you have to let me get you something to eat and drink". She turns around quickly not waiting for an answer, and walks into the back yet again. Your left wondering who Edwin is to this girl, could they be close friends, relatives, more? He is clearly close to her, close enough to get you a free meal.

She comes back rather quickly from the back with a large plate of chicken and a large mug of Ale and a pitcher of water. Setting the chicken down you smell the amazing aroma of it, it is roasted, and cooked just right and clearly whomever cooked it started awhile before you came here.

"Gren and Walder, in the corner ordered the chicken" clearly noticing your surprise "But they clearly are not going to eat it" Moving her head to allude to the corner.

Turning around you see the two old drunks from before, but this time they are passed out and sleeping.

"So how do you know my father"? She asks quickly changing to subject, and answering your early unasked question.

"Well to be honest I just met him" You say after drinking some of the Ale. "He wants me to join his mercenary company". She looks kind of worried for a second then reply's.

"Oh I almost nearly forgot my name is Anna" clearly embarrassed.

"Bergelmir" you say trying to be polite.

"Well Bergelmir, if there is anything you need just let me know" She says emphasizing anything.

You talk for sometime afterward, her asking where you are from and with you telling her the story, followed by you asking almost innocently her how Edwin is her father, with her explaining that she is his bastard daughter.

At some point the Ale house starts to pick up business and Anna has to leave you to your meal and take care of paying customers. Afterwards you get up and put the chair back, looking around the place now the room is packed, how long where you two talking? You think. Many new waitresses are taking orders and many of the patrons are staring at you as you get up, many try their best to at least pretend to not be starting but you cant help but feel uncomfortable about it, deciding to leave you head over to check on your room. As you enter your room you are surprised that the ceiling is still big enough for you but also the bed, which is surprisingly large enough for you to actually sleep in it. Overjoyed at the prospect of actually sleeping in a bed you set your stuff down to the ground and relax laying in the bed. As you relax on the bed sleep slowly starts to overtake you.
