Goryo

A power house among the undead few are "lucky" to see...

Goryos are hybrids betwen Ao Nyobo and Banshees. Appearance wise they manifest with clothes similiar to that of Japanese nobles rather than the plain single color ones onryos manifest with. They're still pale blue or white skinned but they don't bleed from their eyes naturally.

Though very similar to ornyos, goryos have so distinct differences that set them apart from their cousins. goryos see themselves as nobles and often act as such often, which leads to two distinct personality types among them, Oppressive and Protective. Oppressive types act like conquerors and will actively seek to conqueror other monsters, while Protective types act like just rulers that seek to protect and provide those they consider their subjects while expecting to be served in return.

The more mild and cheerful spirits tend to come to their domains, even with the oppressors. They're kingdoms tend to be akin to a lively town within the spirit world. While the goryos might have a preference, but they'll take any monster willing to to serve them, willing or in some cases not.

Whereas the onryos have outright power, the goryos have more control over their powers. Battles between them can rage on for hours and it's usually never easy to tell who will win during the first half of them.
