Good thing we're outdoors

Sophia and me wait our turn in line to get our hand stamped or a discount on the food and beverages. With the stamp all meals are five dollars and the drinks ranger from one dollar for can pop to seven dollars for a tankard of lager. Freshly stamped we wander into the festival,music gently playing at each vendor but manly it's Breeze 104.7 Fm,the elevator music to soft rock station in town.

A little after 7:30 finds us at 'Mad Jacks Ribber' which Sophia thinks may be to messy for a first date. I convince her that the size of serving isn't as big as she thinking. Two pieces of rib,a tablespoon of coleslaw and beans and a can of cold soda for five bucks. Finding a place to sit and eat we pass the time with the usually first date conversation between bites of food.

I finish my plate,while Olivia leaves her spoonful of beans. "You mind?" as i reach for her garbage,shaking her head no i gulp the beans down before we set off in search of a dessert. About four vendor down we find 'Olly's Crepes',Olivia starts to salivates at the sight of the fresh strawberries on display,One strawberries 'n'creme crepe later Olivia is full. Me i have a funny feeling in my gut that i maybe about to make a bit more room inside.

"Olivia can we go over by that stand of speakers for a moment?" She looks questioningly at me but follows me as i go stand right in front of the speakers. They're situated between 'Alma's Pies' and 'Meats Galore' Lucky for me the song playing has a loud drum beat,with my back to the crowd i past a rather fragrant fart.

Seconds past before i start to walk away.Olivia bursts out laughing, now it my turn to look at her questioningly. Leaning in close to me "Max you farted by that speaker and the kid at 'Meats Galore smelled it,turned and sniffed the meat hanging closest to the speakers!" She continues when she gets her breath back "He took it down,tossing it into the garbage can thinking it was bad!" She lost again in a fit of laughter.

I'm turning red when Olivia comments "I've been sprayed by a skunk in the wild ann it was more pleasant than what i just smelt by that speaker!" Oh god i didn't realize that she was that close to me when i farted,now i'm getting redder.

"Oh god Olivia i'm so sorry i didn't mean for you to be down wind of me when i farted!"

"Max you think i want to be there again? Why don't we quietly make our way out before another gas attack wipes the festival out!"

Both of us bursts out laughing as we start for the exit. Just my luck we pass a local cheese shop about to open a new variety of Cornish Yarg cheese. "So people this cheese has a slight odor to it but don't let that hold you back from enjoying the smooth texture!" Just as his hand lifted the lid of the hamper i let a silent fart out. With the lid fully off everyone including the cheese maker started to gag!,the lid was slammed back in place. Ten "I don't remember it smelling that bad back in the shop?"

Olivia and me now are laughing so hard that tears are running down our faces. Making the exit then her building,{YD] turns to me "Mind if i get your car for you,after all i have to live here and i don't think even industrial Febreze is strong enough to clear that odor out of the air!" Handing her my keys i wait trying to bottle up another fart until i'm way from here.

Up my car comes,Olivia gets out handing me my keys. Waiting for my to gt inside Olivia leans in "Out side of the gas attack i had a fun time Olivia,lets do it again sometime when you haven't had beans!" I swear she's about to kiss my cheek when "Oh God it linger,or you just farted again!"

With that i drove off,considering that this date was officially over!
