Going down (on) a rabbit hole

After a celebratory lunch of roasted vegetables and steaks on the grill (during which you find out that you are living with both a vegetarian and a strict carnivore), you give the girls a tour of the house, from the root cellar to the spare bedroom in the attic, and every room in between.

There are four bedrooms in the house with one currently serving as your work studio. You tell the girls that they can each pick one as their own private space, but neither take you up on the offer, preferring to share your bedroom with you.

When the tour of the house finishes, the three of you end up on the back porch. The weather was near perfect for spending outside; warm and sunny with a soft breeze.

Looking to Misha, you point to the woods that bordered two sides of your property. "There's never anyone in those woods this time of year. Usually we only see anyone during hunting season in the Fall. Why don't you take a run and check the woods out? Get to know your new territory better."

"No humans in the woods, Master. But Misha saw fourteen birds, eight squirrels and two deer. There was--" The puppy girl paused in her report as she was walking past you. She steps closer and leans in close to you, still slowly sniffing you as (not naked) Loopy walks into the room behind you.

You hold still as Misha sniffs at your face, then with a slight tilt of her head, looks to your eyes.

After a moment, she turns her gaze to Loopy, pauses again before her lips curl up in an amused grin. With her eyes still on the bunny, she sticks out her long pink tongue and slowly licks your chin and cheeks; once, twice, three times before she pulls back and says to Loopy. "Mmm... Master tastes delicious. Yes?"

You glance back to Loopy and see her staring back at you with wide eyes, her cheeks blushing bright red again.
