Go with Jennifer!

"Sure, I'll have a look at your side, Jennifer," you say, your interest piqued by the purple haired, large-breasted girl on the only canvas visible to you.

"Oh..." Brooke murmurs and looks at the ground.

"See, there's a reason our side's more popular," Jennifer says. "It's because it isn't boring. If you want to see beautiful landscapes and stuff, you can just go for a walk." She saunters off, before turning around and giving you a pointed look.

You hesitate, wanting to apologize to Brooke, but she shuffles her feet and adamantly avoids looking anywhere near you. After a moment, you follow Jennifer.

"Was that a bit harsh?" you ask as you catch up to her. "She clearly spent ages on that."

"Yeah, probably," Jennifer says, and a guilty look passes across her face. "It just pisses me off that she thinks her art is better than ours just because it's 'traditional'." She makes exaggerated air quotes. "Like, it's still art!"

You nod. "Yeah, I mean, that looks like it took an insane amount of energy," you say, pointing at the purple haired anime girl.

Jennifer's eyes light up. "You like it?" she says excitedly. "That's mine!"

"Yeah, it's cool!" you say, taking a closer look. "The way her hair's drawn, it almost looks like it's actually moving. Uh, who is it?"

"It's Yuuki!" Seeing the blank look on your face, she adds, "From Sword Art Online?"

"Oh, yeah, I've heard that's pretty good," you say.

"Yeah, it is! Although it is, like, full-on anime - as in literally everyone is in love with the main character. It gets kinda dumb at times," she laughs. "It's worth watching, though, it's a really cool premise."

"I'm not really an anime person, I've pretty much only seen **** Note," you say.

Jennifer shrugs happily. "Hey, everyone's gotta start somewhere." She falls silent as an official-looking guy walks past and makes two tick marks on his clipboard. "Your patronage of weeaboo corner is much appreciated," she grins, curtsying exaggeratedly, and you **** yourself to avoid fixating on the way she pushes her chest out as she does so.

"You're welcome," you laugh.
