Go with Her to the Bar

Justin accompanies Karen to the bar despite his being severely underdressed. There they hang out and spend the next hour talking. He couldn’t believe how much he enjoyed this woman’s company. She had to be one of the most beautiful women that he’s ever seen.
“You know you are nothing like I expected.” She said gazing at him with her pretty hazel eyes.
“How so?”
“I mean you are in the NBA, a music star. I figured that you’d be arrogant and cocky. Instead you are funny and charming.”
“Sorry to disappoint you.”
“Oh no you didn’t. I’ve really enjoyed this time talking to you.”
“I’ve enjoyed talking to you as well. So what are you doing after graduation?”
A smirk fell on her face, “I don’t know. I’m probably either going to get my MBA or help my dad.”
“What does your dad do?”
“Uh he’s in the entertainment business.”
“Oh okay. You don’t sound too happy about it?”
“I’m happy I guess. It’s just hard when you meet a guy and get to the point where you want to spend the rest of your life with him only to loose him because he is horny. But you know what I’ve been through.”
“Unfortunately I do.”
“Look at us, two sad souls dealing with stupid heartache caused by stupid selfish people. We deserve each other.”
“Maybe so.”
“So what do you say?” Karen asked as she leaned over the table.
“What do I say about what?”
“You know, us hooking up?”
Justin laughed, “You are kidding right?”
She took her hand and rubbed it on his thigh, “Do I look like I’m kidding?”
“While I’m honored I don’t know you like that. Besides you are drunk and I don’t want to take advantage of you.”
“You are so funny Justin. I thought you pro athletes are supposed to hook up with whoever.”
“Well I’m trying to break the mold. Since you mentioned that, I’m not trying to be a target.”
“Wow! You are something.” Karen said smiling. “You sure I can’t change your mind?”
