Go to the dirt path through the woods
The path plunges into the woods here - old pines and oaks, with a dense mat of needles and leaves that soften the step under your sandals. You can smell decaying leaves, and the air is significantly cooler here than out in the sun. The path continues north deeper into the woods, where you think you see the red of a brick wall. To the east the path opens out into the fields.
