Go to the boys

„Hey boys,“ you greet the two boys friendly, „what can I get you?“

„Hi,“ one oft he guys with a green shirt greets back, „I’m sorry, but can you tell us where Cindy is? We are classmates of her.“

„She is changing at the moment,“ you answer smiling, „I’m sure she will come to you as soon as she can. I just helped out because something happened at her university.“

„Really?“ the second boy asks surprised, „I didn’t heard anything. Is somebody hurt?“

„No, nothing this serious,“ you answer, „she can explain this better. However, do you want something while you wait?“

„Sure, I take the almond-cup and a black coffee, please,“ the boy with the green shirt orders.

„For me just a strawberry ice cream,“ the second guy adds.

You nod and go to get their order. Meanwhile Cindy takes the order of the girls. After getting their ice cream and coffee you return to the boys.

„Thanks,“ the second guy says and pulls out his wallet, „by the way, do you have a boyfriend?“

„No, but don’t have great hopes,“ you answer sorry, „you are not the first one who asked me today. And the answer will not change.“

„A shame,“ the second guy answers, „you are cute. I can hardly believe you don’t have a boyfriend. However, thanks fort he ice cream. Keep the change.“

You nod gratefully and take the money from the guys. Then you go to the owner oft he ice cream parlor and tell him that you end your shift.

„Thanks for helping me,“ he says smiling, „you know, since Alice doesn’t comes regularly, I’m looking for someone I can hire until summer. Then there are enough students who look for a summer job. Are you interested in working here on weekend?“

„Are you sure?“ you ask surprised, „I don’t want to ruin Alice‘s job.“

„She ruined it herself by being a lazy, arrogant slut,“ the owner oft he ice cream parlor answers ans shakes his head, „my patience with her is over. If you look for a little income on weekend, don‘t hesitate to ask for a job. The customers like you. And you can keep all tips you get.“

„I will consider it,“ you promise, „a little bonus income sounds good. But being a police officer always comes first for me.“

„Of course,“ the owner oft he ice cream parlor says understanding, „well, here is you money and I wish you a nice day.“

„Thanks, goodbye,“ you reply and leave. You earned ten dollar and the tips you got increase your payment to 17 dollar. Not bad for only an hour of work. If you want, you can still go to the gun store before going back home.
