The city is always busy, always full of movement and voices and sometimes even music. The lambs felt safe walking these city streets because of all the hustle and bustle, and the bright lights that from the street lights and the shops and cars. But the truth was that these bright, beaming lights only made the shadows more concealing, more solid, and the crowds made the sudden disappearance of one person that much less memorable. The only true danger in the city wasn’t from the lights or the stampeding lambs, but from the dogs, always the blasted Sheppard dogs. More than anywhere else they prowled the busy hive that was the inner city, sometimes chatting amongst themselves, sometimes eyes averted, but ears listening, always listening for the sound that didn’t fit the natural roar of the city.

You are wary, but not afraid as you slink through the alleys, looking out at the crowd. Tons of people, beautiful people, out in groups having fun, or alone heading slowly home or quickly to work. Nobodies looking at you, nobodies noticing you. It’s taken you years to learn how to be so unmemorable.

You wander about for fifteen minutes when, suddenly, you come across two opportunities. At the end of the alley you are walking by, a beautiful woman appears to be trying to get in through the side entrance of a store. She has a key, but it is not working, and she appears to be very frustrated, and not paying attention to what’s around her.

However, much further down the alley road you are walking (roads made behind buildings, for shipping goods to come through) there is a handsome man loading cartons of beer into the back of his van. You had actually spotted him earlier, but he had been with another man then, the person you assume was selling him the beer. But, the other person is now gone, and the man is very focused on his task.
