Go to party

I’m going to miss the party trying to figure out where they are if I don’t just go to the basement now. So, I turn around and head downstairs to the basement.

Brad: “Hey, Alex, I didn’t know how long you were going to be and so we already voted to do Truth or Dare for the game. I hope you don’t mind.”
Me: “That’s fine with me. Are there any rules?”
Brad: “The rules are that the person who does the last truth or dare picks the next person to go. If someone chooses dare, but doesn’t do the dare then they take a shot of rum and pick the next person as if they did the dare. If someone chooses truth and someone doesn’t believe what they say then the person who told the truth has to have someone else in the room confirm the truth. If that person can’t then they take a shot and the game continues as normal. If that person can have someone confirm it as truth then the person that challenged it has to take a shot and the game continues as normal. Though, I don’t think we will have that problem.”

Just as Brad finished explaining the rules, I see Lilly and Holly coming down the stairs to the basement. I guess they decided to join the party after all. Looking at Brad tells me that he isn’t too happy that his sister is coming to the party, but he doesn’t seem to me like he is going to say anything about it.

Me: “Holly. Lilly. Brad just told me the group decided to play truth or dare. Come over by me and I’ll tell you the rules.”

We go over to one of the sofas to sit just as Missy gets up and joins Kelly and Heather at one of the other sofas. I then quickly explain the rules to both girls.

Brad: “Alex. We made a bet while you were upstairs about when you would show up and since you did then you get to go first and pick who you ask truth or dare.”
Me: “Oh, thanks I guess.”

It looks like I get to start the game off, but who do I pick? There are so many choices and what I decided to ask them or have them do likely will set the pace of the game.
