Chapter 6 by goodson goodson

Go to Rosie's or keep looking?

Go to Rosie's

"Let's go to Rosie's," Alyssa replied, "If it's crowded we can always go someplace else." She concluded as she headed for the small neon sign that proclaimed the place Rosie's.

Seth followed along behind her cursing himself silently for being such a jackass. He runs into his attractive math teacher after three years and the first thing that happens is that he gets busted checking her out like some kind of lecher. He was amazed that she had agreed to go to the bar after she had busted him like that. Seth knew that Alyssa was happily married, or at least that she had been back during high school. But if she was so blissfully married why had she been shopping in a porn shop an hour away from where she lived? Maybe she wasn't as happily married as he thought, Seth thought to himself with a smile.

"Thank you, Seth," Alyssa said with a smile as he reached out and opened the door for her. It had been years since anyone had opened a door for her and it reminded Alyssa of the first couple of years of her marriage, a time when her husband had seemed willing to do anything for her, a time that until now she hadn't realized she missed. Pushing that unhappy thought aside Alyssa looked around the small bar, letting her eyes slowly adjust to the dim lighting. A long wood topped bar ran down the right hand side of the place, a few round wooden tables ranged around the bar. It was small and cozy, a perfect bar for a conversation or a nice relaxing drink in the afternoon. "This looks like a nice place, Seth," Alyssa said as she made her way to a table.

"Yeah, I come here every once in a while," Seth replied as he followed her to a table in the back corner. Taking a seat across from her, he motioned the waitress to come over. They ordered a couple of drinks and started talking.

Alyssa found Seth an interesting conversationalist and soon got caught up in talking to him. Hours passed quickly and the single drink turned into numerous ones, as they talked the bar slowly filled up and became noisier. Finally the noise became too much for her and Alyssa suggested they leave.

"Okay," Seth agreed heading up to the bar to pay their tab. "Would you like to go someplace else?" He asked hopefully when he returned. He had enjoyed the last couple of hours of conversation with Alyssa and he dreaded it ending.

Does Alyssa want to go someplace else?
