You swim down the corridor, because it is easier than walking, and the water keeps getting deeper until it would be over your head if you tried to stand. The evil sorcerer may be a perverted freak, but he did you a big favor with his spells - more than one, if you really think about it, though you don't really want to. If you never have to think about the events of the past few hours, that will suit you just fine. After all, Adventurer Rule #15 - what happens in the dungeon, stays in the dungeon.

Swimming around a corner, you suddenly back-paddle as you find the passage blocked by the thick, scaly coils of a sea serpent. His body is not much thicker than yours, but many, many times longer, and covered in glistening green, blue, and gray scales. He raises his head and looks down at you with pale green glowing eyes. His black, forked tongue flicks out, and a crackle of white electricity dances down the length of his neck before dissipating in the water.

"If you made it this far, I assume you know what is about to happen to you," the serpent says.

"Yeah, yeah, I know," you say. "Tell me, what has the sorcerer promised you?"

"Only the salvation of my species," the serpent says. "If I perform well, he will enable ten of my kind to be able to live in the deepest depths of the oceans, where the human hunters who seek to slaughter us will not be able to find us. If I do very well, he will make all of us that remain able to live there."

"Sounds like a noble cause," you say with a **** sigh.
