Go out the front door

You turn towards the front door, pulling Loretta with you.

"We're not going out the back door?" she whispers.

"I don't want to risk sneaking past your father," you reply. Grabbing the door knob, you turn it slowly to find it unlocked. However, tugging at the door you find it stuck.

"Daddy was suppose to have fixed that," Loretta whispers behind you.

You pull the door a bit harder and it gets unstuck from the door frame, but it causes enough noise to stir the old farmer.

"What was that?" you hear the Loretta's father mutter drowsily from the living room.

You and Loretta stare at each other in panic.
