Go deeper into the house.

Nothing in that room is worth my time. I'm here for only one reason - to get that black jewel. I open the next door and step into the corridor, following it deeper into the house.

The manor's even bigger than I expected. I trot down the winding, labyrinthine corridors, trusting to luck and to my honed adventurer's senses to guide me. The merchant gave me a vague idea where Rinelda's bedchamber might be, but I know I'll still have to explore a little to find it.

I come to a halt at the end of a hallway, standing before two staircases. One leads down, the other leads up. Looks like I have another decision to make.
