Chapter 8 by goodson goodson

Should she go back to his place or not?

Go back to his place

"Well, Alyssa, would you like to go back to my place?" Seth asked once more.

"I'm married, Seth," Alyssa said, trying to avoid his gaze, "I enjoyed being with you today but I really shouldn't be here with you." She explained as she cursed herself inwardly for being attracted to her young former student.

"I understand," Seth said, "and I'm sorry if I gave you the wrong idea. I was just inviting you up to my place for a drink. Nothing more." He lied smoothly, after that kiss he had been hoping to get her into his bed but if he couldn't he would just enjoy her company a bit longer.

"Oh, I'm sorry," Alyssa said, although she didn't really believe that was his intention at all. "A drink would be nice, Seth" Alyssa said quickly seeing the disappointment on his face, "Let's go."

They walked out of the noisy club and down the now crowded street until Seth pointed out a small house down a side street. "That's my place," Seth said as he led his attractive former teacher down the dimly lit street, "I rent the upper floor from a cousin of mine, it's actually his house but he's over seas this year so I've got the house to myself most of the time." He said as he unlocked the front door and allowed Alyssa to proceed him into the house. As she passed by him, Seth found his eyes drawn to her slender figure. 'God, she's hot,' He thought to himself as he followed her up the narrow stairs to his apartment, his eyes riveted to her shapely ass as it moved under her skirt.

"Well, this is it," Seth said switching on a light as they entered the living room.

"Wow, Seth are all these paintings yours?" Alyssa said in amazement as she looked at the stacks of canvases that lined the room. It was a large room almost completely empty of furniture except for a frayed old loveseat and a large wooden easel in the far corner. On the easel was a large painting obviously in progress showing a nude woman reclining. Alyssa blushed as she realized that the woman bore a remarkable resemblance to her, she almost could have modeled for the painting.

"Yeah," Seth said almost shyly as he watched his former teacher walk over and start looking through a stack of paintings. "This is my senior thesis, it's a series of paintings that explore the eroticism of art through the ages. I try to do one painting from each style throughout history."

"You're really good," Alyssa said as she looked at the paintings in awe. "Do you work from a model or just invent the figures?" She asked finally.

"well, I was having my girlfriend pose for me but we broke up last week so I was trying to do this one from memory," Seth said gesturing to the unfinished painting on his easel. "But I can't seem to get it right so I'm currently looking for a new model. If I don't get this one done soon, I'm not going to be able to graduate this spring, it's the last one in my thesis. What would you like to drink?" Seth asked as he headed towards the kitchen.

"A beer would be great," Alyssa said as she sat on the loveseat, picking up a sketchbook off the floor and started to thumb through it. The first half of the book was filled with sketches of a dark haired woman, the one she had seen in most of the paintings. As she neared the end of the sketchbook she noticed that the drawings were beginning to resemble her more, and she was shocked to see as she flipped the final page a sketch that was obviously done from an old year book photo of her. Blushing furiously Alyssa just had time to close the book and put it back where she had found it before Seth returned, carrying two beers. "Thank you, Seth," she said as she took the beer, moving over on the loveseat so that he could sit down beside her.

"You're welcome, Alyssa." He said as he sat beside her, his body thrilling at being this close to his attractive ex-teacher. They both sat in awkward silence, sipping their beers for a couple of minutes until finally Alyssa broke the silence.

"So how are you going to find somebody to model for your paintings?" She asked finally just to break the tension. "Do you have anyone in mind as a model?"

"Yeah, but I'm not sure she'd agree to do it," Seth said shyly as he took a sip of his beer.

"Well, you'll never know until you ask her," Alyssa said, shocked at her actions. She knew he wanted her to model for the painting but she wanted to hear him ask her.

"Would you model for me, Alyssa?" Seth asked shyly, avoiding her gaze.

Should she model for him or just leave now?
