Go Slow

You have always enjoyed seeing what unexpected things could happen and you figure a naked woman in the street could have a lot of interesting things happen. So it is that you start walking slowly along towards the park.

It is full dark now, the street lights have all come on, bathing the street in a orange glow as you walk. The streets in this area are mostly empty and the people you do come across all seem to walking in the opposite direction from you.

Stopping at a street corner you look around and think you can see the park a couple of blocks down. As you cross the road you spy a group of people walking out of a building just down the road. In the dim light of the street lights it takes you a second to realise they are all men.

Four of them to be exact, all of them look youngish and have the air of a group of friends heading out for a night on the town. You don’t slow down your walk as they start heading your way, they don’t seem to have noticed you just yet and as they come level with you they glance over at you. A few rote cat calls come your way and you wonder to yourself if you should say anything in reply.
