Go Back To Your Walk

Reasoning that what just happened isn't even remotely possible, you simply decide that it didn't happen. You ignore the fact that you just saw it, as well as the fact that their shiny residue is still sitting there under that lamp. You just walk right past the scene and move on.

Eventually, your walk brings you to a paved forest trail, small lamps hanging from the branches of the trees lining either side and providing the light for your stroll. As you ponder life, the universe, and most everything really, you hear a scream and see a rather panic-stricken man. As he gets closer you see that he seems to be pulling at his face, and as he passes you it's clear as day that he's not pulling his own face but rather the latex muzzle that occupies the spot his nose and mouth should. Not about to let him ruin your walk, you decide that this man also doesn't exist and simply walk on.

After a short time, you've stopped by the silhouette of a small animal, one that (judging from its rubbery sheen) is most likely responsible for the other man's deformity or would be if that other man had existed. You try to once again convince yourself that what you're seeing is impossible, but soon realize that the night's events so far have widely broadened your idea of what's possible.
