Gloves, of course!

James then left the book and the page in the living room and searched for something in his room. "Hmmm let's see...boxer briefs? Nah...socks? Nope...a t-shirt? Maybe...I got it!" He then fished out a pair of black leather gloves from a drawer. "These should work, worse case scenario what are a pair of harmless gloves going to do?" he told himself. He then ran back into the living with gloves in hand and set them on the table.

He then looked at the page and thought that maybe he shouldn't do this because the page didn't exactly specify the duration, how to stop the spell, or more specifically of what the spell actually did to achieve this, but seeing as this looked made up as it was, he went along with it anyways. "Huh, I should use a wand for this...aha! A pencil!" He then waved the pencil in the air and said the words on the page, "Attrivus Attentia! I mean Attentum!" he said mispronouncing the word.

Nothing happened. "Hmmm maybe I need to put more feeling into it? Ok, Attrivus Attentria...UGH I mean Attentum!" he said messing up again. "Did it work?" he said picking up a glove and wiggling it around. Nothing happened. "Just as I thought, I knew this book was fake. Well *yawn* maybe I can keep it for laughs until I can open it or something. I should probably get ready for bed, it's late already." he said putting the book on a bookshelf and leaving the page on a table.

James got in his PJ's and fell asleep not long after. All was quiet in the house until the gloves James left on the table began moving. Slowly they began taking shape as if a pair of hands were wearing them. They wiggled their fingers before floating towards the page he left behind and began "examining it". Both the gloves high fived each other before they headed towards James' room. They flattened themselves to go underneath the door and re-inflated on the other side.
