Give in to them.

"Alright Natalie. I'll join your sorority if you'll just let me stay at the college," you say in resignation.

"I'm sorry John but that's not possible. The offer was a once in the life time opportunity and lets face it, you blew it. Big time," Natalie says as she looks at you with a dark stare.

"So that's it. Is it? I'm screwed and there's not a thing I can do about it?" you say with a shrug of your shoulders.

A flash of pity crossed her face for a split second. "Well maybe there is something you can do about it. I'll have to call a council meeting with the sorority," she says think for a moment.

You begin to hope that she is feeling a twinge of guilt over her actions.

"I'll see what the girls decide and them we'll let you know, OK?" Natalie says.

Just as she finishes her sentence a tall man in a suit steps through the door behind Natalie dressed in a suit and carrying a brief case. You guess he must be the dean of enrollments or something.

Without missing a beat Natalie says cheerily in an airy "dumb blonde" voice, "I'm sorry about the mix up Sir. I'll have it all taken care of for you."

"Anything the problem Natalie?" the man asks her.

"Nothing Mr. Kelly. I've got everything under control," she says with a bright shinny smile.

"Good. I'm heading off for lunch now," Mr. Kelly tells Natalie.

"Whatever you say Sir. Are we still having dinner together tonight Sir?"

"Yes. Is seven o'clock alright by you?"

"Wonderful. Will Mrs. Kelly be joining us tonight?"

"No not tonight. Anyway I'll be back form lunch around two."

"Have fun. I'll see you then."

With that the man leaves you and Natalie alone in the office.

"What was that all about?" you ask.

"Oh nothing," she replies having switched back to her normal voice. "Look I'll put you back in your classes for now and the sorority will contact you some how when we have reached our decision."

You leave the enrollments office as Natalie becomes engrossed in changing records on the computer. You mind is spinning once again thanks to the Alpha Pi Omega sorority.

You realize that you can do nothing else for now but wait for them to contact you.
