Give him a chance

You decide to see what he has to offer and offer him a seat as you mince back to your chair and flop into it side saddle with your legs crossed over the armrest. He sits down in front of you clearly confused by your unprofessional demeanor.

"Hi, I'm Daryll" he says reaching a hand across the desk. You take his hand with a smile and remind him that he'd already introduced himself. He looks embarrassed at first before awkwardly returning your reassuring laugh.
