Getting closer

Agatha continued watching Wanda's every move for the next day or so. She tracked Wanda's comings and goings so she knew how and when to strike.

Agatha had sensed that Wanda cast runes around her cabin, runes that would disable her magic. Agatha had already researched a spell that could temporarily break runes.

As Agatha researched her spell books she then had a smart idea.

"I dont need to dismantle her runes. I can just hijack them and make them work for me!" Agatha exclaimed to herself. She waited for night and approached Wanda's cabin. She had a cloaking spell activated so Wanda wouldn't sense her.

Agatha was about 15 feet from the cabin when she felt the protection runes running around the cabin in a dome shape. Agatha focused her mind and body, purple magic glowing out of her hands. She then placed her magic on the dome and slowly but surely, transferred the runes power to her.

Agatha dropped down in exhaustion. The spell worked. Wanda was still sleeping so she didn't notice a thing. Her magic was useless inside the cabin. Now all she had to do was go in and take over Wanda's mind.

However, Agatha thought that controlling Wanda instantly while she slept was too.... unsatisfying. She wanted Wanda to feel what she felt. So instead, Agatha would wait until morning to strike. She watched Wanda as she slept peacefully in her bed.

"We will meet again tomorrow, dear." Agatha whispered as she watched Wanda through her bedroom window. With that, Agatha went back to her camp and waited until morning
