Get up early to study

You rub your eyes as you stumble out of bed, staring at your vibrating phone. It’s far too early to be up, but there’s work to be done.

After brushing your teeth, you change and look up what remaining assignments you have. Still too many, but chemistry looks like it would be a good place to start, given that’s your intended major.

You decide that you need food in your system, so you head out for breakfast, swipe into the dining hall and toast a bagel. Still half asleep, you grab some orange juice, and then head for the seats, looking for a familiar face. Seeing nobody, you find yourself a table and begin work on the problems.

They’re not too hard, for the most part. Mostly, it’s just explaining and recalculating the results of famous experiments relating to atomic theory, and within two hours, you’re more or less done with the entire thing. The cafeteria’s mostly full now, with students rushing to get a bite of food in before classes begin.

Looking at your schedule, you see that you’ve got math coming up, and you begin to head towards the first class of your college career.
