Chapter 3 by Storm Chyld Storm Chyld

What to do that night?

Get some sleep, tommorow is a long, and likely trecherous affair

The group gets up the next morning going about their normal routines, the cleric preying to what ever unholy ideal he holds. The wizard studying her archaic tome. Deseree watching out for trouble, and jenny cooking up the morning breakfast.

You always split your time between planning your next move, watching the halfling, so she doesn’t poison you, and staring at the wizards large chest. You found quickly that like Daniel, Kayla is aware of gross movements, though only to a degree, but oblivious to small things. So you can just sit there and stare as long as you like, though you are careful, that the others don’t notice.

As the group finishes its routine, you rally them and prepare to move into the dungeon. Jenny disarms her bells, and you open the door leading the way down the dark hall.

You have three of the group carrying torches for light. Deseree, Daniel and your self. If a fight erupts they can be used as a weapon, or dropped to shed light. The mage and the halfling, are kept from this burden because they need their hands more, as well as it would be a waste of torches.

You lead your party down the dusty stone hall, and come to a large room, bigger then the light your torch sheds. Around the corners of the dark room, you see little pinpoints, of red glowing eyes. As you continue into the room, your light shows small skeletal rats scurrying away from you, their infernal undead, red eyes filled with malicious intent.

As the group fully enters the room, you find that the large room as two exits, other then the northern hall you just came from. In the eastern wall sits another iron bound oak door, while the western hall has a hallway.

"Jenny check the door, Deseree glance down that hall." you call out, keeping in the middle, so as to be able to freely move to either side should trouble arouse it self.

As the halfling bounces over to the large door, Deseree walks to the hall, and glances down the passage. "Can’t see the end" she calls, unsurprisingly.

A few moments’ pass, and Jenny calls out. "No traps, no locks, and I don’t hear anything on the other side."

Which direction should you lead them. Or should you split up to cover more ground.
