Get dressed and go to Emily's room

The two of you couldn't enjoy the afterglow of sex too long before Emily brought of the idea that her roommates might report her as missing if her took too long before reporting in.

You both jumped into the sonic shower, a replacement for conventional showers that used water as a means to get clean since plumbing on an astroship would add a needlessly complicated system to an already complicated design. On the bright side, the sonic shower would even function if the artificial gravity systems malfunctioned and water wouldn't be suspended in the air.

Just five minutes needed and you and Emily were clean as a whistle and ready to jump back into your uniforms and make your way to deck 10.

The halls were busy with others on the way to their rooms. Some were blindly walking through the crowd keeping their focus on room numbers as they would occasionally bump shoulders with the more aware crew while others brought up maps of the ship on the hallway monitors. It was a struggle making it to Emily's room in one piece.

At last, you two made it to the room. The door slid open to reveal what was comparatively a closet to your quarters.

There is wall that has four recesses with bedding inside each for officers to sleep and that was about it. At least it was better than old ships that allowed for even less privacy with a large room with nothing but open racks lining the room for officers to sleep on and there was no storage for anything.
