Geralt takes action

Jim and Ann watched in horror at what happened. Jim's mouth was agape, while Ann covered hers with her hands. The other people at the pool began to panic. "What the hell is that thing?" one man screamed. "WE HAVE TO GET OUT OF HERE!" someone else cried. And with that, the other pool goers began to run for the exit, dropping everything they were carrying. The crowd managed to make it to the gate, but so did the ooze. It began moving towards them as they fled and started seizing them one after another to pull into its mass.

Across from Jim and Ann, Geralt and Katie were equally terrified. Geralt's dick, which was rock hard moments ago, was now hanging flaccid and away from Katie's still open mouth. Geralt swiftly composed himself and picked up his device. He rapidly tapped on the screen, but when he was done, he stood there frozen, with a look of horror returning to his face.

"We need to get out of here!" Katie cried out next to him as she jumped up from her chair. As soon as she did, the ooze began moving towards them. "It's coming!" Katie screamed as she pulled Geralt to run away. But it was useless, the ooze was gaining on them. Geralt tapped the device's screen a few more times before throwing it into the pool. Just as he did, the ooze reached out and grabbed him and Katie, reeling them in. The two struggled against it, trying to use the edge of the pool to hold on. It seemed to work for a moment, but then more tendrils grew out of the ooze and touched their hands, forcing them to let go.

Katie and Geralt continued to struggle, but it was no use. And soon, they too were swallowed by the ooze.

Jim watched helpless as his father was taken. Once he was gone, Jim looked for the device. What he saw was odd. The device was floating on the surface of the water, like an inflatable pool toy. Thinking back, he didn't recall hearing a splash sound either. Did my dad do that to it before he threw it? Jim wondered. Regardless, I have to get it!

Jim was able to head towards the pool when he felt something grab his arm. "What are you doing?!" Ann whispered frantically. There were some tears trickling down her face, but it seems she was holding them back. Jim could tell from the look on her face that she didn't want Jim to suffer the same fate as her mother. "We need to find a way out of here!"

"That thing my dad threw into the pool might help us," Jim quietly explained. "I need to get it before we run."

After a moment, Ann released her hold. "Be careful," she whispered. "I won't forgive you if you get taken."
