Gavin, room with two twin-sized beds

After thinking it through for a few seconds, Zack decided that the most logical decision would be to share a room with Gavin, his best male friend. If he chose Chloe, Gavin most likely would end up sharing with Kurt, and he didn't want to condemn his friend to that fate. Plus, Chloe would probably get Victoria, which meant she could scout their blonde friend for him.

“Hey, Gavin,” Zack called out to him. “Let’s share a room?”

Gavin nodded, relieved he wouldn't have to room with someone who could create an awkward situation, like Kurt, or worse, one of the girls. “Sure,” he replied. “Let’s get our stuff.”

As everyone took their bags and suitcases to their respective rooms, Zack learned that the other rooming combinations went exactly as he predicted, Chloe and Victoria, Brandon and Ashley and the cousins Heather and Kurt. Brandon and Ashley got the bedroom with a queen-sized bed, the lake room, and Heather and Kurt got the master room, a fact that seemingly left their hostess more than a little upset. I wonder how much aware she is about her cousin's ways.

Zack followed Gavin into their room for the next two weeks to find two twin-sized beds with a couple of nightstands, a dresser with six drawers and a desk with a chair. He looked around and found nothing wrong with the room.

“How many drawers will you need?” he asked Gavin.

“About four, I guess, I think I've brought more stuff than you,” Gavin replied, already piling up his electronic devices on the desk.

Zack put his two bags beside one the beds and exited the bedroom, deciding to unpack later. The living room was still empty, with no one having returned from either bedroom. He wondered what he could do now that the sleeping arrangements had been settled.
