Gary, Best Friend

Gary had always been John's friend since he could remember.

He didn't have a prom date either, so John thought, "You know we could both just go stag and see if we can pick up any women who went with their friends." John went over to Gary's house and knocked on the door.

"Hey, John! What's up?" Gary said.

"Hi Gary, listen I know we both don't have prom dates, but I was thinking what if we went together and tried to pick up chicks there."

Gary paused for a second mulling over the idea.
