Fuu explains herself, Robin cools off

Robin stepped forward, her face twisted in anger, and her eyes brimming with tears. She hadn't traveled long with the Bravos, but they had been some of the best people she had ever met in her life--true heroes, or so she had thought. But a hero never gives up! A hero never abandons a friend in need, and they certainly don't mind spin their other friends to stop them from doing good!

Tears started to flow down Robin's face as she stepped forward, swinging her hand at Fuu, the lofty image she had of her leader shattered. Fuu stood there, her face blank as she watched the girl, not moving an inch as Robin's open hand smacked her in the face. Emmaline started to step forward, but Robin was already swinging again, a second hand got dangerously close, before Fuu reached up and caught it.

The two stared at each other for a moment, Robin's open emotion matched with Fuu's stoic stare.

Then, something in Fuu's eyes softened. She brought Robin's trembling arm down, stepped forward, and embraced the younger girl, holding the weeping Robin against her shoulder, like a younger sister.

"Shhh, don't you worry. We're not abandoning them-- don't even think that for a second." Fuu reached up, her hand gently stroking Robin's hair. "Sometimes there are fights you can't win head on-- that's all this was. So sometimes you have to be careful and creative. Liv will be okay-- she strong, so strong. When we get back there, she'll be waiting for us, she'll probably have killed every one of those monsters for bothering her."

Robin's trembling slowed, her body relaxed. Emmaline stepped forward to place a hand on her shoulder, and smiled, and Robin started to calm down.

"Y-you're right. I'm sorry I freaked out" Robin's voice was a little nasal as she wiped her nose with her hand. "Gods, I'm sure Liv would have something to say if she saw me freaking out like this" she laughed, finally wiping the tears from her eyes. "We were heading into the temple, right? You guys lead the way... I'll... I'll be good in a minute"

With Emmaline's arm wrapped around her shoulders, Robin followed Fuu through the large front doors of the abandoned temple.
