Forest of Suffering

Krimson decided it would probably be best for her to travel the route ahead of her. Besides, going through the Ice Caverns was tricky. Not to mention cold as hell.

There's a reason this place was called the Forest of Suffering. Oh yes, it had it's fair share of monsters. But people had a strange habit of vanishing in here, never to be seen again. And sometimes, the wind would carry their screams across the land. Definatly not the kind of place for tourists or casual travellers.

Slicing through another thicket of vines, Krimson began wondering if traveling this route was a wise idea after all. For two days, she had been cutting her way through this infernal forest, occasionally killing large snakes, boars, and bears. She had the strange feeling that she was a little lost.

Suddenly, a glowing orb flew up to her, startling her slightly. As she raised her blade, a cute sounding female voice gasped. "No, traveler! Please, lower your blade, I beg you!"

"A fairy?" Krimson lowered her sword, and looked closer at the orb. Indeed, it was a fairy. And she looked terrified of something. "What's a fairy doing so deep in the forest?"

"Please, you must help me, traveler! My sisters are being attacked by a man-eating plant! They won't last long against it!"
