You wait a moment to ensure they are truly gone, then slip down the stairs and out of the cottage. You see the man and girl further up the path, heading towards the main campus. You follow them, keeping well back and affecting a casual stroll.

You need not have worried. The two are so focused on their conversation they pay no attention to their surroundings as they walk. You watch as they enter the Mellon building, which you know from your map houses some student rooms. As the building door closes behind them you run forward, opening the door and peering carefully inside.

You are just in time to see the couple entering a room just down the hall. When it closes behind them you approach the door and read a brass plaque set prominently on it.

'Dean of Students' you read as you smile wickedly.
