Follow the lead

"I think you know my answer," you tell Diana as you rise to your feet. She smiles and waves you off.

An hour later you're standing in front of a three story brownstone on the outskirts of the city. Diana's note says that you're looking for a person only known as Colfer, who recently moved in to the third floor of the building. Not much is known about the person - age, race, even sex were all blank slates - but Diana's contact was sure that Colfer would only be here for a limited period of time.

When you reach the correct door, you stare at it for a long moment, trying to dampen your hopes that you'll find anything useful. You've been down that road before. Still, you can't help but feel excited at the possibility that you might discover something, anything, that would change your fate. Life had become a bit more bearable now that the CIA had provided you with the **** that could somewhat control your urges (both as a male and as a female) but the threat of a sudden transformation - and of a permanent change - is always there, and it's no way to live.

You knock on the door.

"Excuse me. I'm looking for… Colfer?"

The door opens.
