Follow Betty's experience

When Betty Olsen wakes up again, she is surrounded by principal Myers and the high school first responder team, not to mention a cloud of curious onlookers. "Mrs. Olsen!" the venerable head of the institution exclaims in utter confusion. "What has happened here? Are you alright?" The first reply that he gets from Betty consists of a drunken giggle and a nauseating burp. "Ne-never mind, ol' chap", the teacher slurs as she struggles to get out of her dented car. "I'm only a lil' tissy, ya know. Shus' gimme anuffer bollof wine, and I'll go and giff my shockraffy leshon." Fighting for balance, she nearly falls over and grabs the principal's arm for support. Myers is literally flabbergasted. "Mrs. Olsen! You're drunk!" he hisses and tries to disentangle himself from the intoxicated woman. "This is a matter of utmost importance! The reputation of our entire school is at stake! Please accompany me to my office at once!" As it turns out, this is easier said than done. Because the drunken Betty is unable to walk properly, and also to avoid unwelcome attention, she is finally placed onto a stretcher and carried to the main building as if she was suffering from some unknown medical condition. Although he is **** to let her go, Myers has to admit that any serious discussion with his **** subordinate is currently out of the question, and so she is placed in a taxi and sent off. At home, Betty loses no time in opening a new bottle of wine and continues her drinking spree. Snugged into her sofa cushions, she blabbers and giggles for some time before she passes out again. This time, she will be sleeping until daybreak, and the new morning will not only bring her a massive hangover, but also a whole bunch of occupational troubles.
