Follow Alyssa's experience

After the four girls have piled into the dented SUV, they lose no time in opening their liquor bottles and guzzling a few healthy swigs. "Gread!" Alyssa giggles drunkenly. "Tha'll do for anuffer hour or so. Less go to the lage and have a sunbaff!" - "Aren't we goin bag to Mary's?" one of her friends wonders aloud. "Hell, no, bidch! She's a loushy pardy poober!" Flooring the gas pedal, Alyssa speeds onto the main road, steering her car in meandering lines. The girls drink liquor and yell obscenities at several pedestrians, leaning from the open windows. "Gosh, I'm sho hammered!" Alyssa laughs after her latest sip. "I really needo pee. Less hurry to the lage so I can ushe the bushes." Pressing down the accelerator, she runs a stop sign and lights a new cig. Greedily inhaling the smoke, she closes her eyes and enjoys her gross intoxication. "Wash out, Lysh!" Her passenger suddenly grabs the wheel and jerks it violently to the right. This prompt action by the least drunk of the four girls probably saves all their lives, because they were only seconds away from a head-on collision with an 18-wheeler, Alyssa having drifted into the opposite lane. Startled, the nasty brunette jumps onto the brake pedal and tries to regain control of the car. But it is too late. After sideswiping several parked cars, the Blazer crashes into a house wall after taking down a small tree and a lamp post. Fortunately, the car has already slowed down enough to prevent its occupants from being seriously injured. Only Alyssa has suffered a broken nose, a light concussion and a torn ligament in her left knee. At midnight, she is sleeping silently in a hospital bed after swallowing two sedating pills, but she is facing criminal charges for the offenses she has committed.
