Flee

Unable to bear the vicious predator her friend had willingly become; Sarah turned away and ran further into the house. Knowing she would fare better with a companion, Libby strode toward the front door and opened it for her former beau-turned-vampiric lover and sire. Parting her pouty lips Libby invited him into her home.

Once inside the pair shared a brief fang-filled kiss before turning their attention to the darkened house. Though to them the house was bright as day, Steve sniffed the air as Libby turned her head and listened out for the rhythmic beat of their prey's startled heart. Slowly the vampiric pair began to ascend the stairs.

Sarah realised the colossal mistake she had made after reaching the top floor and denying herself an escape route. Hurrying up the corridor she desperately tried each door but each one was firmly shut until she came across Libby's room. Wrenching down the handle she was relieved when the door swung inward.

Whilst closing the door she saw the glowing eyes of Libby and Sarah as they cut through the darkness and turned to face her...
